FIRST of all I did not make it last Saturday for the home game against Lyme Regis the second round of the East Devon Senior Cup (down to Stagecoach).

The team won the match 2-1 and will be away against Crediton United Reserves in the third round just nine miles up the A377.

Last Saturday’s match was number 38 unbeaten at home. Well done lads.

Tomorrow, Saturday, March 19 Lapford are away at Axminster Reserves.

We hope it’s not like last time in the season, when they cancelled at 11am. Hopefully the weather will be ok.

So onwards and upwards and good luck to all.

Only one Premier Division match was played - Kentisbeare beat Colyton 2-0. So Lapford is still in top position.
