AT the Downes Crediton Golf Club ladies spring meeting, Ladies Captain Fran Shrubsole presented trophies for matches played earlier in the year as well as for the games played that day.

Sharon Leach was the Scratch winner, the overall winner of the spring meeting. She won the nine-hole greensomes with Fran Shrubsole and the Miller Bowl for the best net score for the day.

Sharon and Joyce Gilg won the Carroll vase and the Bob-Bon dish for the best net 36 handicapper of the day was won by Ros McIntyre.

Other results were: Silver - 1 Angela Battershall. Bronze 1 - June Mitchell, scratch winner; 2 Margaret Mapledoram, 3 Sue Bonner.

Bronze Two - 1 Annet Coles, 2 Ros McIntyre, 3 Norma Barry.
