AN individual medal competition for the Brian Adams Salver (scratch) and the Bill Webber Bowl (handicap) was played at Okehampton Golf Club on Saturday, July 30.

The winner of the Brian Adams Salver with a gross 73 nett 70 was Kevin Cornwall, Lee Carey was second with gross 74 nett 72, Jerry Lock was third with gross 78 nett 66 and Paul Douglas was fourth with gross 79 nett 71.

The winner of Division One was Jerry Lock with nett 66, Norman Heslop was second with nett 68 and Paul Rattenbury was third with nett 69.

Division Two was won by Alan Lawson with nett 63 after count back, Matt Mills was second also with nett 63 and Andrew Sinclair was third with nett 64.

David Haines Lawson was the winner of Division Three and the Bill Webber Bowl with a fantastic nett 62, Roger Slack was second with nett 65 and John Latham was third with nett 66.

The ladies section played their monthly stableford competition and the winner of Division One was Frances Harbron with 40 points, Sue Stanbury was second with 36 points and Marcia Collett was third with 35 points.

Mary Keir was the winner of Division Two with 41 points, Pam Jarman was second with 39 points winning on the back nine from Clare Salter also scoring 39 points.
