IT’S been a strong and encouraging campaign for Crediton A, Crediton Tennis Club’s sole men’s team in this year’s Exeter and District Winter League Division 2.

A blend of youthful recruits and the experienced courtcraft of long‑standing players has created a squad full of energy and resilience.

Despite competing in a tough division, Crediton A currently sit 5th and have shown they can match every side they’ve faced.

Several rubbers have been decided by grit in tight third‑set tie‑breaks.

Most recently, the team produced an impressive win over high‑flying Seaton, underlining their growing confidence.

Recent months have also brought challenges, with club nights and matches often cancelled due to persistent wet weather.

As every outdoor player knows, it’s tricky to play tennis when the courts are soaked.

With four matches left, Crediton A are pushing for a strong finish and aiming to carry their momentum forward with pride.
