ON June 15 John Palmer, who lives at Sampford Courtenay, will set out on an approximately 1,600 mile cycle ride around the coast of Ireland.
John is hoping to raise £2,000 for the FORCE cancer charity. So far he has raised £360 and is asking local residents to help him achieve his target.
John said: “FORCE is a great charity that offers treatment and support to people who have cancer and also sponsors research into the disease.
“It costs more than £1.5 million a year to keep the charity going and I would love to provide at least £2,000 of this with your help by sponsoring me.
“Through “Virgin Money Giving” your donations will be quickly processed and passed to FORCE.”
To sponsor John see the website: http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com and enter “John Palmer” into the “Sponsor your friend” section.
Donations can be made online or alternatively cheques, made payable to FORCE, can be sent directly to John at Middle Cliston, Sampford Courtenay, EX20 2TL.
Virgin Money Giving is a not-for-profit organisation and will claim gift aid on behalf of FORCE if you are eligible for this.
