HEAVIEST catch of the week at Creedy Lakes, Crediton, was landed by Crediton angler James Stagg, when he banked a whopping specimen common, which tipped the scales at 29lbs 2oz.

This was James’ first visit of the year as he has been very busy growing his painting and decorating business. His catch was amongst a two fish bag. He has certainly proved that he has not lost any of his angling skills.

Another Crediton angler, Mike Izzard, once again had a busy session and this week he tempted out 12 catches during his visit. His top three catches scaled 21lbs 10oz, 21lbs 4oz and 19lbs 12oz and all of his fish were commons.
