DESPITE the horrendous weather towards the end of last week and the hard work of Okehampton Golf Club’s Greenkeepers the club was fortunate to have 15 holes in play on Saturday, November 26, for a fourball better ball stableford competition.

Division One was won by Kevin Cornwall and Alan Searle with 39 points. Malcolm Hooper and Rich Camies were second with 37 points, Alan Lawson and Martin Letchford were third with 36 points after count back from, in fourth Matt Mills and Rod Wright also with 36 points.

The winners of Division Two were Toby Gostling and Dale Chadwick with 38 points.

In joint second, with identical scores, were Reggie Wonnacott and Gavin Jackson and Rod Milsom-Smith and Keith Lee both with 36 points.

In third place were Paul and Michael MacDonald with 36 points.
