DOWNES Crediton Golf Club Ladies section held their Spring meeting on May 4 which saw Judith Ezard score a tremendous, four under par, nett 69 to win by a massive eight shots from her nearest challenger.

Judith’s gross 88 also brought her the scratch prize and the best nett score in the Silver Division, on both occasions from Lady Captain, Liz Mapson.

June Mitchell won the Bronze One Division scoring a nett 77, two clear of Joyce Gilg in second place (nett 79), whilst Di Parsons (nett 77) won the Bronze Two Division by two shots from Sue Barr (nett 79).

Also this month Stacey Ford won the Devon Ladies County trophy, played at Holsworthy Golf Club. She played both stroke and match play to win the plate.
