IN the Downes Crediton Golf Club Seniors Three Player Texas Scramble, played on Monday, January 27, it was the trio of Nick Bromell, Jim Kenshole and David Vowden who came out on top with a superb gross 60 nett 62.

The team of John Cann, Rick Eidam and Dennis Wright followed in second posting a nett 63 with Hugh Fernyhough, Roger Gratton and Graham Pateman (nett 64) third.

Stuart Willcocks stole the show in this month’s February Medal on Saturday, February 1 with a fantastic nett 66 to win the overall and top Division Three.

In Division One it was Jamie McGuigan who took the victory with a nett 70 beating Rodin Mackay (nett 70) into second.

Michael White took first place in Division Two posting a nett 67 whilst Kate Cornish won the ladies prize with a nett 79.
