AN Individual Medal competition was held at Okehampton Golf Club on Saturday, July 31, for the Brian Adams Salver (best gross) and the Bill Webber Bowl (best nett).

The winner of Division One was Phil Martin with nett 61, James Weller was second with nett 64 narrowly beating Steve Mander on the back nine who was third.

Division Two and the Bill Webber Bowl were won by Lee Bonner with a fantastic nett 61, Mark Curtis was second with nett 64 and Steve Penna was third with nett 65.

Frank Nowell was the winner of Division Three with nett 65, Adrian Raymond was second with nett 67 and John Haley was third with nett 68.

The Brian Adams Salver was won by Kevin Cornwall who shot a gross 71.

The ladies section entered an Individual Stableford competition and the winner of Division One was Sue Williams with 36 points, Maggie Caws was second with 34 points and Cherry James was third with 33 points.

Division Two was won by Di Johnson with 29 points, Babs Beaney was second with 28 points and Lin Atkinson was third also with 28 points.
