ON Saturday, July 3 an individual medal competition for the Jim Butcher Trophy was played at Okehampton Golf Club and the winner of Division One with nett 67 was Jerry Lock

In second place was James Weller with nett 70 after count back placing John Flavin in third.

Peter Sinclair was the winner of Division Two and the Jim Butcher Trophy with nett 64 narrowly beating Reg Prescott on the back nine who also achieved a nett 64.

Rod Wright was third with nett 67.

Eric Pengelly was the winner of Division Three scoring a nett 70, Nick Reilly was second with nett 71 and Brian May was third also with a nett 71.

The ladies section played an individual stableford competition and the winner of Division One was Marcia Collett with 35 points, Sue Williams was second with 34 points and Frances Harbron was third with 32 points. Division Two was won by Jane Warren with 35 points, Elaine Marwood was second with 34 points and Pam Jarman was third, also with 34 points.
