OKEHAMPTON Golf Club held its annual Turkey Trot stableford competition on Saturday, November 3 which saw Dan Hudson win Division One with 41 points.

n second place was Malcolm Hooper with 40 points, Gareth Holt was third with 39 points after countback which placed Kevin Pedrick in fourth.

Division Two was won by Alan Lawson with 39 points on the back nine from, in second Colin Beardwell also with 39 points Adrian Raymond took third place with 38 points again after countback leaving Richard Heslop in fourth.

David Stallion was the winner of Division Three with 37 points, Dennis Edwards was second with 36 points and John Latham was third with 35 points.

The ladies section played a betterball competition which incorporated the qualifying round of the vets knock out and the winners with 43 points were Marcia Jones and Marcia Collett who will go forward to represent the club.

In second place were Penny Deakin and Sue Stanbury with 43 points and Lin Atkinson and Mary Keir were third with 42 points.

Congratulations to Mary who also got a hole-in-one on the seventh hole.
