Lady Captain vs Vice Captain

Thursday saw the annual Downes Crediton Ladies Captain vs Vice Captain match.

Sixteen ladies entered and were randomly allocated to one of the teams.

It was a beautiful day with a sneaky wind but I think everyone enjoyed the opportunity to play matchplay in preparation for our inter-club matches later in the season.

The result was a win for the Captain’s team.

Report for Sunday at Teignmouth

On Sunday we went to Teignmouth Golf Club for the first Mixed Friendly that we have played since 2019.The sun was shining but the wind kept the temperature low.Because of Covid restrictions we started the day with a bacon or sausage bap but didn’t have a meal afterwards.

Everyone appeared to enjoy the day and made new friends.

Teignmouth won the match5½ to 2½. We look forward to the return match on the July 4.
