A FOURBALL better ball, open competition was held at Okehampton Golf Club on Saturday, September 23.
The overall winners were Kevin Cornwall and Alan Searle with 46 points. In second place were Redd Cann and Scott Gillespie with 43 points after count back from, in third Kerry Skinner and Steve Pike also with 43 points.
Keith Harvey and Steve Browne took fourth place with 43 points.
The best combination prize was won by Norman Heslop and Chris Hurley with 43 points.
Best Visitor prize went to Rob Gilpin and Martin Garside with 40 points. Malcolm Hooper and Lee Carey were seventh with 43 points and eighth place was won by Evan Rees and Bryan Evans with 42 points.
On Sunday a mixed foursomes medal competition was held for the Dora Milner trophy and the winners were David Stanbury and Penny Deakin with nett 69.9.
Matt Scott-Tucker and Jane Warren were second with nett 72.9 and Richard Johnson and Sue Stanbury were third with nett 73.4.
