CREDITON Youth U12s secured the Division Three league title at the weekend with two fine wins.

Saturday, April 26 saw them travel to Millwey Rise and return with a 3-0 victory. On Sunday, they eased passed Rockbeare Rockets with a 7-0 result. The weekend results saw them maintain their unbeaten run in the league.

The U16s started the week with a 2-0 home victory over Culm Sampford, Luke Cassar and Rhys Ebdy getting the goals. Saturday was a frustrating morning as they were held to a goalless draw against Topsham Town. Despite edging possession, they just could not find the vital goal.

The U15s lost out midweek away at league leaders West Exe 1-0. But they bounced back on Saturday with an impressive 5-3 result at home to Moors Youth. Seb Roche led the way with four, and Ashley Henderson completed the scoring for them.

Also at home were the U14s who edged out Whipton Wanderers 4-3 in a thoroughly exciting game. Doubles from George Strawson and Jimmy Orchard secured the points.

It was a week of draws for the U13s at Lords Meadow. Midweek saw them draw one each with Dawlish Dragons with Toby Pett grabbing their goal. On Saturday, they had to settle for a 3-3 draw against Moors Eagles, who scored a late equaliser to deny them all three points. Casey Philp, Edward Lippolis and Jayden Saunders were amongst the goals.

The U11s lost out to Twyford Spartans with player of the match Joey Carpenter getting their goal.

Sunday saw the U16s girls travel to the league leaders Buckland Athletic for the second consecutive week. Last week it finished goalless, but this weekend the home side edged it with a 1-0 result.

It was a fine morning for both U12 girls' sides as they both won. The Youth girls won 4-0 at home against Starcross Dons. Izzy Steward with a brace and goals from Mia Liebenberg White and Eva Malik saw them pick up another valuable three points.

The Blues had a rather one-sided affair away at Twyford Gladiators. Molly Carr and Imogen Treen leading the goal scoring for the Blues.

The U8 girls took part in a mini tournament at Sidmouth. It was one win, a draw and two defeats for them.

The last game of the weekend saw the U18s runout 6-1 winners away at West Hill Wasps.
