AN individual stableford for the Kennard Winter Cup was played at Okehampton Golf Club on Saturday, October 16 and the winner of Division One and the trophy was Andrew Parry with 42 points.
This was a fantastic achievement for Andrew as he has only recently returned to golf after having a hip replacement.
Matt Soby was second with 38 points and Paul Ezard took third place with 37 points.
Division Two was won by Richard Johnson with 39 points, Nick Reilly was second with 37 points and Pete Grant was third with 35 points.
The winner of Division Three was Kerry Skinner with 40 points, Mike Harding was second with 39 points and Kevin Harding was third with 38 points.
The ladies section also played a stableford competition and the winner of Division One was Marcia Collett with 36 points and Frances Harbron was second with 34 points.
Division Two was won by Cherry James with 32 points and Mary Keir was second with 29 points just beating Marcia Jones on the back nine, who also had 29 points.
As there was no prize giving last year Lady Captain Jane Warren presented the individual knockout Rose Bowl trophy to 2020 winner Mary Keir and the 2021 winner Sue Stanbury.
