THE annual trophy presentation took place at Okehampton Golf Club in October when a packed Clubhouse saw 70 cups, trophies and shields from Club and County level presented to all the 2016 winners, by Club Captain Rod Jones and Lady Captain Janice Thwaites.

Congratulations go to everyone for their achievements in what was an amazing year!

Saturday, November 12 saw members competing in a Four Ball Better Ball Stableford competition.

Winners of Division One were Paul Skidmore and Richard Reid with 48 points, second place went to Kevin Cornwall and Matt Parry with 47 points, third place to Malcolm Hill and Mark Wonnacott with 45 points, just ahead on the back nine from Lewis Parry.

Division Two winners were Adrian Tilley and Simon James with 44 points, second place went to Alan Mann and Phil Jones with 43 points just ahead on the back nine from Fred Cooke and Graham Pengelly in third place.

On Wednesday, November 9 the Ladies section played a foursomes stableford competition for the Molly Grant Salver.

The winners of the salver with a score of 38 points were Mary Keir and Maggie Caws. Second place went to Francis Harbron and Marcia Jones with 35 points and in third position with 34 points were Sue Stanbury and Marcia Collett.
