TEDBURN St Mary Football Club is currently seeking applicants for a Secretary and Treasurer to its committee in preparation for the 2019-20 season.

The club, which is a registered charity, owns its own grounds (two full-size pitches in addition to youth pitches) as well as a modern clubhouse at Barley Park, Tedburn St Mary.

Its senior teams play respectively in Division Three and Division Eight of the Devon and Exeter Football League, and it has a small but developing youth section. The club’s long-time main sponsor is the Kings Arms, Tedburn St Mary.

Monthly committee meetings are convened to ensure the smooth running of the charity, and all officers are “de-facto” Trustees of the charity.

The outgoing Secretary/Treasurer is keen that a hand-over period can be organised to ensure a smooth transition of officers, and as a result the club is seeking expressions of interest/applications as early as possible.

Although previous experience would undoubtedly be of value, an enthusiasm to undertake either of these tasks, by anyone with the required attributes, would be viewed as equally valuable.
