A TALENTED Crediton footballer is being supported with sponsorship from Evans Newsagents of Crediton.

Archie Morgan (9), of Buller Road, is an exceptional footballer and was previously recognised to play for a Plymouth junior team.

More recently he moved to become a member of the Exeter City Academy Under 9’s, which, just this month, has seen him playing in games as far away as Swindon.

Archie, who was nine on Sunday, January 7, said he really enjoys playing football and hopes to continue playing with Exeter City Academy.

Archie is already destined to play in the Exeter City Academy Under 10’s in the summer.

His mother, Ami, said that she is very proud of his achievements.

Paul Conabeare, of Evans Newsagents, and his wife, Tara, said they were pleased to sponsor Archie with his new Exeter City Academy kit and wished him well for the future.
