IT has been another busy week for Crediton Youth FC sides including many midweek fixtures.
The U18’s hosted Okehampton in front of a sizeable crowd. They found themselves one down at the break.
Goals from Ben Betts, Ellis Alldrich, Hayden Leach, Thomas Harris and Zac Mildon in the second half saw them to a 5-1 victory.
A busy week for the U15’s saw them lose out 2-0 midweek to Central Scorpions. Saturday saw double header games against Teignmouth. Both games ended 4-2, with both sides recording a victory. Ethan Moore, George Strawson, Jimmy Orchard and Will Hopkins amongst the goals for them.
It was two midweek defeats for the U14’s as they hosted both Lyme Regis and West Hill Wasps.
The U13’s returned from West Exe Wanderers will all three points after a great win. Hatricks for both Evan Leach and Radu Motorola with Jacob Sweeney and Ollie Dallyn also on the scoresheet.
Two home games for the U12’s as they lost out to Twyford Spartans 2-1 with Ben Edwards getting their goal and 4-0 to Moors Youth.
It was a great morning for the U7’s as they hosted two sides from Broadclyst. Three wins and a draw for them with Arthur Hookway, Elijah Hosgood, Finn Smith, Max Harvey, Thomas Broome, and Toby Stagg amongst their goal scorers.
The U15 girls travelled to Exmouth United Leopardes with a depleted squad. The game was goal less at half time with the hosts eventually running out 4-0 winners to go top of the table. Their coaches were so proud of girls battling performance.
Both U13 girls sides tasted defeat. The Blues lost out away at Braunton Wanderers with the Youth side losing 3-2 away at Exmouth United.
The U9 girls hosted two sides from Cullompton Youth. It was three defeats and one victory for them with Amelia Holland, Connie Beddoes-Byrnes and Nola Coombes on her debut grabbing their goals.
They then enjoyed a great afternoon watching Exeter City ladies defeat Gwalia United 2-1 in their final game of the season at St James Park.
