CREDITON Youth Football, which was recently approved as an SSE Wildcats Football Centre, saw 16 girls attend its first girls football session.

SSE Wildcats Football Centre’s offer girls aged five-to-11 years the opportunity to have fun, make friends and play football.

Crediton Youth Football welcomes girls to attend the remaining weekly courses.

This fun and friendly environment will develop young girls’ physical and social skills by encouraging a healthy lifestyle and inspiring them to develop a lifelong love of the game.

With the FIFA Women’s World Cup scheduled throughout June and July this is an opportunity for local girls to start the football journey to become the next generation of Lionesses!

Sessions in Crediton run from 5pm to 6pm on the grass pitches beyond the main Crediton Football Club ground for 16 weeks.

The cost is just £2 per session and all the sessions are delivered by FA qualified coaches, providing a safe place for girls to try football for the first time and develop key football skills, with varied sessions to keep it fun.
