OKEHAMPTON Golf Club Professional, Ashley Moon hosted the annual Pro’s Day competition last Saturday (September 10).

The format of the day was “greensomes on the front nine four ball better ball on the back nine” plus double points on some very tricky pin positions.

The winners with 53 points were Steve Rice and Phil Jones followed into second place by Richard McFarlane and Phil Atherton attaining 51 points.

Third place was awarded to Kevin Cornwall and Paul Rattenbury with 47 points after countback from, in fourth Malcolm Hill & Mark Wonnacott also on 47 points.

The prize for best mixed/all ladies pair was won by Sue Williams and Sue Stanbury with 43 points.
