SPREYTON started this game on Saturday, August 25 really well and controlling possession fantastically, the ball broke on the right-hand side for Chris Down to make some great link up play with Tyler Cole and Matt Baker - and he was away to thrash home 1-0.

Ten minutes later Jamie Hatch played a lovely ball into Chris’ to take round the ‘keeper to make it 2-0.

Thirty minutes into the game Chris Down completed his hat-trick with some lovely work from Quinton Smith on the left to play into Chris to smash home 3-0!

Right before half-time Koehan King played a lovely driven in corner and Bradninch couldn’t defend to take a deflection home to make it 4-0 at the break.

Bradninch got into the game in the first 10 minutes of the second half but the persistence paid off and Marko Mc played some great football linking up with Jamie Hatch, Koehan King and Steven Kinsey to break through from a fantastic ball through to Marko to finish calmly and score in his first competitive game.

With 10 minutes to go Marko got a bit of luck with his second goal, smashing it home from 25-yards and the ’keeper fumbling it in.

A great start to the season. The back four of Adam Leat, Dan Hine, Quinton Smith and Tyler Cole were superb from the first whistle and Tim Cockman made a fantastic save to keep his clean sheet in tact.
