LAST Saturday (November 25) saw Crediton Youth FC U15s return to action in the League Cup away at Culm Sampford.

Goals came from Hayden Leach, Ollie Baker, Rhys Ebdy and Zach Mildon resulting in a 4-0 victory.

Lots of goals again in the U13s game against Exmouth United at Lords Meadow. But they eventually lost out 4-3.

Two goals from George Strawson and another from Luis Matthews were just not enough to salvage a point for them.

It was a tough day for the U12s as they lost out 4-0 away at Stoke Hill.

With no scheduled league game the U11s decided to use the weekend to have two friendlies.

Saturday saw them host Okehampton when Jacob Sweeney and Finn Moore led the scoring for Crediton, also on target were Riley Houghton and Toby Camp getting their first goals of the season.

Sunday saw them take on a Culm Sampford side and an entertaining game ended one each, with Eva Malik getting the Crediton goal.

U9 City had a great result in their cup game at Culm Sampford Cougars.

A great team performance saw them return with a victory. Goals came from Charlie Blake, Charley Hiscock, Freddie Rose and Ollie Johnstone.

Freddie also took the player of the day award for being a constant threat on the right hand side, with some great runs and a super goal.

Saturday also saw the U7s host a mini tournament on the astro.

They fielded three sides on a cold frosty morning, with other sides attending from Alphington, Kingskerswell and Watcombe Wanderers.

Once again there were plenty of goals and some great football was played, with one of the Crediton sides remaining unbeaten all morning.

Sunday saw County Cup action at home for the U15 girls as their tie was eventually played out after weeks of cancellations.

It was not to be their day as MAP Juniors ran out 6-4 winners.

Being 4-0 down at half-time the Crediton girls put in a strong second half performance with Lily-Anne Smith grabbing a hat-trick and Amy Lockyer also netting, but it was the Plymouth side who go through to the next round.

It was league cup day for the U18s as they hosted West Hill Wasps.

Another 6-4 scoreline but this time in was a Crediton victory.

Will Bragg with a hat-trick, a Finn Warren brace and a Harry Edwards goal saw them come out on top.
