ADAM Voisey, chairman, Sandford Football Club, has thanked local resident Margaret Phillips for a generous donation.

He explained: "Sandford Football Club would like to extend its enormous gratitude and thanks to Margaret Phillips from Sandford 200 Club for the recent donation to the club.

"The sum of £237.65 is warmly received by all, and I would like to place on record my thanks to her for her tireless and continued dedication to this, which she has done over several years."
