ONE of Crediton’s top kicking Little PUMA’s who trains with Dave Powlesland at the Lords Meadow Leisure Centre has just won the National PUMA (Professional Unification of Martial Arts) British Championships High Kicking title for his age and height.

Max, who trains regularly with Dave, travelled to the National event held in Swindon.

The Championships was extremely well attended with more than 400 competitors taking part in the whole event.

In Max’s age group there were about 50 other Little PUMAs there on the day.

Dave said: "It is so rewarding to see that our Little PUMAs that train, doing so well.

"Our Little PUMA syllabus is brilliant for any four to six-year-olds, as they not only keep fit and flexible they learn so many valuable life skills that will put them in a great position for the rest of their lives."

Dave continued: "We will now be looking into what events we can attend next year and I am sure that with his continued hard work and training, Max with his families support, will soon need some extra shelves at home to display his growing collection of medals and trophies."

Little PUMAs is a specialist proven syllabus for all four to six-year-olds and has been running for a number of years in Crediton.

Some of Dave’s previous Little PUMAs students have continued their training into Taekwon-Do and are now Black Belt World Champions!
