LAST weekend (September 16 and 17) saw many Crediton Youth FC sides start their season.

The U16s made their return to Division One at home against Exmouth United. They eventually went down 5-0 to their guests.

It was a better day for the U15’s who returned with all three points from Topsham Town after a 2-0 victory.

Rhys Ebdy scored both of their goals.

The U14’s lost out 1-0 away at Stoke Hill, in what was always going to be a close affair.

Despite putting in a tremendous performance the U13’s lost out to a very useful Brixington Blues 5-1 at Lords Meadow.

Luis Matthews scored the Creddy goal.

The U12’s, playing their first game in Division One, looked set to share the points with Dawlish Dragons until a very late goal from the hosts saw them go down 1-0.

It was a great morning at home for the U11’s development side as goals from Ben Turner, Eva Malik and Theo Nicholson saw them edge out Kentisbeare.

Sunday saw the Crediton U11 Girls away at Braunton, where they played out a draw, with Eva Malik and Marnie Harris amongst the goal scorers.

The U11 Girls Blues lost out away to Twyford Spartans.
