IT was a massive week for Crediton Youth FC U14’s.

Saturday, May 4, saw them take on Alphington at Tiverton Town in the EDYL Plate Final.

Crediton went into the final probably as favourites and a goal after 30 seconds from Zak Cheriet put them on their way.

Alfie Williams Greenwood got a second goal to put them in control of the game.

Fair play to Alphington who made a game of it in the second half and pressed hard to get back into it. But Seb Roche with a fine finish got their third to secure the result for Crediton.

Tuesday evening (May 2) saw the side travel to Twyford Spartans needing just a point to secure the Division One league title. It was a close affair but an Alfie Williams Greenwood goal saw them run out 1-0 winners and let the celebrations begin.

They ended the season on Saturday with a 2-1 win away at Feniton with Joseph Walter and Seb Roche getting the goals.
