WINNER of the Eakers Cup for the best young player at Crediton United and Crediton Youth FC’s for the 2018-19 season was James Close.

Both committees made the joint decision to present the award to James in recognition of his excellent first season in adult football with Crediton United first team.

James commanded a regular place in the centre of midfield, in the side which had a very successful season in the Peninsula East Division.
