CREDITON United Football Club President Dave Blanchford has welcomed Darren Pike as assistant first team manager to Matt Trenaman.

Dave said that Darren has had vast experience with local football in his many years with Witheridge Football Club. Dave said: “I’m sure Darren’s knowledge and contacts in Devon Football will be a great asset to the Club.

“I would also like to thank Richard Blake, Matt’s assistant manager since he retired from playing, for his service to the Club both as a player and as Matt’s deputy.

“Richard has decided to retire to spend more time with his young family.”

Dave added: “All the best to everyone and we hope that it won’t be too long before football everywhere can start again.”
