CREDITON Youth FC U15s led the way on Saturday, September 30 with a 3-1 victory over Brixington Blues at Lords Meadow in Crediton.
Two goals from Rhys Ebdy and a goal from Ollie Baker saw them go top of the table.
Also at home were the U13s who lost out 5-2 against Alphington.
The U12s coaches were so pleased with their side’s performance against Broadclyst despite losing out 2-1.
At 2-0 down they got back into the game with a superb Casey Philp strike and were desperately unlucky not to get a point from the game.
It was another win for the U11s at home against Ottery St Mary.
Will Manns, Jacob Sweeney, Joseph Charlesworth and Luke Beetlestone scored Crediton’s goals.
The U14s had to settle for a point away at West Exe Youth with Jake Tapp getting their goal in a 1-1 draw.
It was a tough day for the U16s as they fell to a heavy defeat away at Axminster.
Sunday saw the U18s make the long journey to Ilfracombe.
They edged out their hosts 2-1, which made the journey worthwhile.
Crediton Youth U13 girls came away from Cullompton with all three points after a 4-1 victory.
Ellen Beswick and Gracie Clements were amongst their goal scorers.
The U14 girls lost out to Newton Fire 4-1 with Lily Anne Smith getting Crediton’s consolation goal.
