CREDITON Youth FC Under 13 Girls recently held an open training session on the pitches at Lords Meadow.

The fun session, taken by a group of guest coaches, had a great turnout and attracted many new faces.

This season will see both the Youth and Blues sides playing in Division One of the Devon Girls League.

As they move to the 11-a-side format, both squads are looking for additional players.

“Who knows, maybe you'll be a parent of a Lioness in 2036,” a spokesperson said.

“Their story starts here.”

Crediton Youth FC provided regular football for more than 300 local boys and girls last season, with many of the club’s sides enjoying great successes.
