CREDITON Youth FC sides were recently allowed to return to action following the lifting of lockdown restrictions.

The return was made extra special for the players of the Under 10 Panthers and Pumas sides who marked their return by being presented by a new kit, prior to their games away against Broadclyst Lions and Tigers.

The kit was jointly sponsored by local companies HEL, Hydro and Moore and Moore. In addition, Keith Hopkins of Killwilljoe has also kindly sponsored substitutes suits.

The club is extremely grateful to these companies for their generosity and continued support during this testing season.

The U10’s sides came away with three wins and one defeat.

Other sides in action included the Under 13’s who maintained their unbeaten start to the season with a 3-2 home win against West Exe Youth with Will Cridge grabbing two goals and Jack Brimilcombe the other.

The Under 11 Cobras went down 3-2 away to West Exe Athletic and the Under 9’s Avengers and Titans had a narrow defeat and a draw away at West Exe Warriors.
