A NEW look Dave Blanchford will emerge on Sunday afternoon (August 30), when his four-years-old granddaughter will make the first cut of his head shave in aid of Exeter Leukaemia Fund, ELF.

Dave, president and temporary chairman of Crediton United AFC, is delighted to have received notification from the FA that the clubhouse can open again.

“We have to adhere to social distancing but it means we can open the clubhouse on Lords Meadow on Sunday from 2.30pm for my headshave to begin at 3pm,” said Dave.

Weather permitting, my headshave will be outside the clubhouse and the bar will be open.

“It will be open on Saturday, August 29, as well, when Crediton is at home to St Martin’s from Exeter,” added Dave.

Gary Moore, ELF fundraiser, said: “Following the devastating financial impact the pandemic has had on charities, fundraisers like Mr Blanchford are vital in helping ELF get though a difficult time.”

Dave has already raised a great amount of funding offline and online via: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/dave-blanchford , Dave hopes to raise as much as he can, so all donations would be welcome.
