WHEN Crediton AFC president Dave Blanchford had his head shaved he raised £2,759.45 for Exeter Leukaemia Fund (ELF).

David’s four-years-old granddaughter Frankie did most of the trimming, her mum, Nikki, Dave’s daughter-in-law did the final tidying up in the sun outside Crediton AFC Clubhouse at Lords Meadow.

Although it was watched live on Facebook, a small group of people had gathered, suitably distanced, to cheer things on.

Dave said he had done the head shave because of friends who had been helped by ELF.

Dave thanks everyone who sponsored his superb achievement. His hair is growing back well.
