Starting and finishing at the Sandford Football pitch at 10am on Sunday, November 6, there will be a choice of two routes.
A short one of 33 miles will be ideal for any novices out there, the other route of 58 miles is for the more experienced rider.
A donation of £10 per person, to include the very best refreshment break at the mid-way point of both routes, with drinks and further refreshments to purchase at the finish.
Anyone who would like to support this event and give themselves a challenge before putting the bike away for winter can register via the Facebook page and search for the cycling group “Sandford Syclepaths”, where they can comment, leave their details and also view the planned route and ask any questions about the event.
Alternatively contact Age Cartlidge of Sandford Football Club on telephone 07805 049 460, or Chris O’Connor of Sandford Syclepaths on telephone 07837 239 371.
A small band of keen riders formed the group only a few years ago and it has now grown into a strong 78-member club of all abilities and ages. If you are a keen or relatively new cyclist and would like to join or find out more please visit the Facebook page where Chris O’Connor will help and advise you.
