THE successful Sandford Cricket Club First Eleven team now have a new training kit which has been sponsored by Helmores, estate agents, of Crediton.

Chris Theedom of Sandford Cricket Club said: “The club is extremely grateful for the sponsorship and ties success on the cricket pitch with a long and successful established local business.

“We provide cricket for four senior teams at weekends, plus a ladies team and more than four youth teams turn out on a regular basis.

“On Friday nights it is not unusual to see more than 100 boys and girls taking part in the ever-popular youth training sessions for those aged eight years upwards.

“Our association with an award-winning local estate agency will undoubtedly help us to continue to provide cricket for all ages and gender and we are extremely grateful for Helmores generosity.”
