AT Crediton Saints Youth FC presentation evening held at Crediton Rugby Club, the young players were encouraged to continue to play football into their later years, as much as to keep fit as to enjoy the social life that comes with playing football. Tony Leach, who set up the club 11 years ago and is its chairman, had announced that he would be standing down from the end of this season. Thanking everyone, especially the parents, for their support, Tony said the club was always looking for funding, but was secure into next season. About the U14s, Dan said they always played as a team with talent , giving glimpses of "phenomenal football". Their Exeter Youth League player of the year was Lewis Cleverdon; most improved - Jake Lewis with team captain Jack Yendle. Manager's Player - Will Thurgood, Parent's Player - Josh Kenshole, Player's Player - Will Thurgood. The U14 trophies were presented by Dan with manager Pete Kenshole, U16s were presented by manager Simon Fowler. He said the team had worked really hard, he was proud of them, and they had been promoted this season. U16 Exeter Youth League player of the year was Jack Duffy, Manager's Player - Brad Bale, Most Improved - Dan Partridge with Dylan Inglis, Player's Player - Craig Chudley. Sue Read
