THE Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) is bringing a brand new fundraising event to Devon this year - the Bubble Rush!

It will take place on Saturday, September 30 at Castle Hill, Filleigh, near Barnstaple, and is a 5k sponsored fun run with Bubbles!

Fun for the whole family, those who take part will get covered in frothy coloured bubbles as they make their way round the course. Sponsorship raised from Bubble Rush will go directly to CHSW’s Little Bridge House hospice, near Barnstaple which supports families with life-limited children from throughout Devon.

The charity is offering the first 150 tickets with 20 per cent discount and Jayne Jarrett, Events Fundraiser for CHSW said: “We’re really excited to be able to bring such a fun event to North Devon and participation in the event will help ensure we can continue to provide vital care and support to local children and families. Places are already going fast, so if you want to be in with the chance of getting one of the discounted places you need to get signed up soon!"

Registration costs just £22.50 for adults; £12.50 for children (two years and under are free), plus there are discounts for teams of 10 and family tickets available for £63. Prices include a t-shirt and medal!

CHSW offers a unique service and provides care for families with children who have life-threatening or life-limiting conditions, 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week.

Families can have short respite stays at Little Bridge House completely free-of-charge. CHSW also offers emergency stays, end-of-life care and bereavement support, and the hospice is a lifeline for families facing unimaginable circumstances.
