MORCHARD Bishop Bowling Club opened for the season on Saturday, April 15.

President and Men’s Captain Edwin Hutchings opened the green by putting up the first wood of the season.

A spider was held with funds raised being donated to the charity CLIC Sargeant.

The winner was Andy Mason, who received a bottle of wine.

The green was too wet for matches to be held following the spider.

This was followed by a convivial tea.

Morchard Bishop Bowling Club has capacity for new members.
