THIS month’s seniors September medal at Downes Crediton Golf Club saw some amazing scores on Monday, September 12.

Rick Eidam scored a nett 63 (seven under) to take top spot of Division Two while Eric Fee also shot a nett 63 (seven under) but lost to a better back nine to finish second.

In Division One it was Jim Dunlop who scored a nett 64 (six under) to take the Division One prize and it was David Rowell who scored a nett 66 (four under) to finish second.

On Wednesday, September 14, Adam Hull scored 39 points to take the Midweek stableford.

It was Fran Shrubsole who scored 35 points to take the county stableford 11 top spot on Thursday, September 15.

Diane Parsons also scored 35 points but lost to a better back nine to finish second with Anne Woodger scoring 34 points to finish third.

In the nine hole ladies stableford it was June Mitchell who scored 18 points to take top spot.

The Thursday nine hole stableford saw Gary Miles score 17 points to take the prize.

Frank Sanders took top spot in this month’s September medal (played on September 17) with a superb score of nett 67 (three under) to take the overall prize plus the Division Three prize.

In Division Two it was Neil Bishop who scored a nett 68 (two under) to take that prize.

In Division One it was Duane Greenslade who scored a nett 68 (two under) to finish top of the Division and the best scratch score of the day was Nick West who scored a gross 73 (three over).
