9.30am to 12.30pm - Crediton ELF Fundraising Group Big Breakfast at Copplestone Community Room (rear of Methodist Church EX17 5NL).

10am to 12 noon - Bow Village Hall Monthly market.

10am to 12 noon - St Matthew’s Church, Coldridge spring clean.

11am to 2pm - Sustainable Crediton’s Green Fair at Crediton Town Square.

Evening - Will Blake Band, Yeoford Community Hall, in aid of Rotary Club of Crediton Boniface local charities.

Monday 26

7.30pm - Bow and District Historical Society will host a talk by Todd Gray on “Devon’s Georgian Cloth Trade” (change from previously advertised). Visitors welcome - £3.

Wednesday 28

6pm - Strolling Mummers to perform “George and the Dragon” on Crediton Town Square. Free performance.

Friday 30

Yer Tiz Rally until October 2 at Newton St Cyres Recreational Ground (EX5 5AT). The Yer Tiz Bike Show (open to the public) will be held on Saturday, October 1 from 2pm to 5pm.

7pm for 7.45pm - Morchard Bishop Sports and Social Club Bingo.

OCTOBER

Saturday 1

10.30am - Historic Churches Coffee Morning at Weirford House, Sampford Courtenay (rearranged date). Proceeds to Devon Historic Churches and St Andrew’s Church. Everyone welcome.

7pm - Sampford Courtenay Oktoberfest event in the Village Hall (in aid of Village Green developments).

7.30pm - Crediton ELF Fundraising Group Comedy Night with Johnny Cowling at the Boniface Centre, Crediton.
