7.30pm - Quiz Night at Black Dog Memorial Hall in aid of Washford Pyne Church.

7pm - 9.45pm - Bow Historical Society talk “Maps and Where to Find Them” by Lucy Browne at Bow Village Hall.

7.15pm - Doors open for Eyes Down at 8pm, Bingo, Puddington Village Hall, for hall funds.

7.30pm - CODS presentation of Monty Python’s “Spamalot” at QE Upper School, Western Road, Crediton. Runs until Saturday 29.

7.30pm - Sandra Collier - illustrated talk about the Holy Land at the Boniface Centre, Crediton. Free entry - donations for Princess Basma Centre for disabled children on The West Bank and Crediton PCC.

6.45pm - eyes down at 7.30pm - Crediton Friends of FORCE Meat Bingo at Crediton Football Club. Bar, tea, coffee and a raffle.

Saturday 29

10am to 12 noon - Crediton Churches Coffee morning (and bric-a-brac stall) at the Boniface Centre. In aid of Hospiscare.

10am to 3pm - Coldridge Winter Charity Craft Fair at the village hall with a number of stalls and refreshments. In aid of Motor Neurone Disease Association.

11am to 2.30pm - Sustainable Crediton Annual General Meeting at Crediton Congregational Church.

3pm - Special half-term show at Crediton Arts Centre with Scarlet Oak Theatre “The Zoo That Come To You” with magical puppets, live music and playful characters.

6.30pm - Tedburn St Mary Annual Firework Spectacular at Tedburn St Mary Recreation Ground. Display commences at 8pm. Food, beverages, Punch and Judy and more.

7.30pm - Crediton ELF Fundraising Group is holding a charity race night at the Boniface Centre. Tickets are £6 to include a Ploughman’s supper. Telephone Nick on 07971 694606.

8.30pm - Hallowe’en Show and live music by Audius Maximus at the Ship Hotel, Crediton (9.30pm show time with mysterious creatures).

Sunday 30

10pm to 2pm - Free microchiping at Jonathon Wood Vets, Barnstaple Cross, Crediton. Coffee, cake and chat with staff.

3pm - Upham Methodist Church Chapel Anniversary Concert led by David Down and Friends from Iddesleigh. Tea to follow.
