JUNE

Saturday, June 25

9.30-12.30pm - The Bookery, Crediton - Design your favourite book character on a T-shirt followed by an Introduction To Creative Work Masterclass from 10am to 11.30am.

10am to 2pm - Share in the Square - The Turning Tides Project, Etchechuria and Whittall and Cookson at Crediton Town Square.

10am to 4pm - Strawberry Fayre at Crediton Methodist Church with exhibition of photographs and artwork and craft stalls.

10am to 6pm - Morchard Bishop Open Gardens - programme available from the Memorial Hall in Morchard Bishop. Also on Sunday, 26 from 10am to 4pm.

12 noon - Coldridge Fete and Vintage Rally - Flower Festival and Dog Show.

2pm to 6pm - Open Day at the Unity Lodge in Crediton with an art exhibition by W.Brother Phillip Mitchell. Cream tea and bar available.

Monday 27 June

7.30pm - Bow and District Historical Society host Professor James Clark on Exeter’s Mediaeval Monasteries at Bow Village Hall EX17 6HU. Everyone welcome - visitors £3.

Tuesday, June 28

10am to 12.30pm - Crediton Congregational Church - CHAT (Churches Housing Action Team) Cash Smart session with tips on savvy spending and help with bills. Free with refreshments (part one of two). Telephone CHAT on 0800 0590104 to book.

JULY

Friday, July 1

6pm to 9pm - Hayward’s School Summer Fete with a Jubilee theme.

6.30 for 7pm - Quiz Night at Bow Village Hall. To book a team of up to four ring Caroline on 07938 765428.

Saturday July 2

2pm to 4pm and 7.30pm - Crediton Arts Centre host the acclaimed folk duo Suthering with a singing workshop from 2pm to 4pm and a concert at 7.30pm. Tickets priced at £10/£8 (£12 for workshop and performance combined) are available from: www.ticketsource.co.uk/crediotonartscentre .

Saturday, July 9

10am to 12 noon - Redlands League of Friends Coffee Morning at Crediton Football Club, Lords Meadow, Crediton, raffle and several stalls. £1 entry includes coffee/tea and biscuits.

Monday, July 11

7.30pm Bow and District Garden Club talk by Rachel Setchfield of Bow Garden and Aquatic Centre, at the centre, about ponds and how they attract wildlife.

Wednesday, July 20

10 to 12 noon - U3A presentation at the Boniface Centre, Crediton by Prof Peter Edwards entitled “Cataclysmic Italy”.
