7pm (for 7.30pm) Crediton Area History and Museum Society talk by Dr Todd Gray and Tony Gale, “Tudor Taxes and Georgian Fires: Crediton 1549 to 1743” at the Boniface Centre, Crediton. All welcome. Members £1, non-members £4. Refreshments on arrival.

9.30am to 12.30pm - The Great Devon Breakfast at Coldridge Village Hall. Full English Breakfast £8 (children £4). All proceeds to FORCE cancer charity.

10am to 4pm - Bric-a-Brac and Nearly New sale at Cheriton Fitzpaine Methodist Hall. Refreshments will be available. For more information telephone 01363 866653. 

10am - Attempted peal to be rung at Crediton Parish Church which if successful should last approximately 3.5 hours. 

10.30am to 3pm - Art Exhibition at Broadwoodkelly Village Hall near Winkleigh. Featuring the work of local artists. Free entry - light lunch available for donations to the Village Hall Fund.

12 noon - 2pm - WI Soup ’n’ Pud event at Zeal Monachorum Village Hall. Tickets £5 per person from Jan on 07811 594528.

4pm to 7pm - Beetle Drive at Crediton Methodist Church. Tickets priced £5 per person include a pasty supper. To book telephone 01363 775450. All welcome.

7.30pm - Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service (DSFRS) Concert Band will be performing at Crediton Parish Church in support of the Church Music Endowment Fund. Tickets £10 (Under 16s free), available online from TicketSource or card/cash on the door.

6.45pm (eyes down at 7.30pm) - Easter Bingo at Crediton Football Club. Tickets on the door. In aid of Exeter Leukaemia Fund.

7pm (eyes down 7.30pm) - Meat Bingo at Crediton Rugby Club. In aid of Pippins and Kidz Star Club.

Friday 24

7pm - An evening of jazz with the Holly Water Stompers at Crediton Football Club. Proceeds to Motor Neurone Disease Association. Tickets £10 per person available from Helmores.

9.30am to 11.30am - Wembworthy Village Hall Committee will be holding a Big Breakfast at the village hall. All welcome.

2.30pm - Cheriton Fitzpaine Garden Club Spring Show at Cheriton Fitzpaine Parish Hall. Free entry. Refreshments, a raffle and plants.

Sunday 26

4pm - Crediton Singers Spring Concert in Crediton Methodist Church. No tickets required.  Free entry with retiring donations for Mid Devon Mobility. 

7.30pm - Charity Quiz Night at The Lamb Inn, Sandford. Teams of up to four - £2 per head. In aid of SACA (Sandford Area Community Action). To book a table telephone 01363 773676.
