10am to 2pm - Christmas Cracker at Crediton Methodist Church with craft stalls, refreshments and soup and roll lunches available.

2pm-5pm - Sampford Courtenay Village Hall, Winter Wonderland, Father Christmas and St Andrew’s Christmas Bazaar with Christmas treats and crafts in the Church Rooms.

2pm to 7pm - Creedy Centre Christmas Fair in Crediton with Santa’s Grotto.

7.30pm - The Christmas Celebration of Sound, with Bow and Spreyton choirs, at Spreyton Village Hall.

Sunday 4

12pm to 4pm - Christmas Fayre at Thornes Farm Shop, Stockleigh Pomeroy.

2-4pm - Wreath making workshop, Colebrooke Parish Hall for Yeoford School PTA.

7pm to 9pm - Ladies Christmas Craft Evening at Crediton Congregational Church.

Thursday 8

7.30pm - Crediton ELF Fundraising Group Christmas Bingo at Crediton Football Club.

Friday 9

3.30pm - Meet Santa at Spreyton Primary School Fair in the village hall.

7.30pm - Contemporary play “Illuminate” at Crediton Arts Centre. Also on December 10, at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.

7.45 eyes down - Sandford Football Club Christmas Bingo at Sandford Parish Hall.

Saturday 10

10am to 1pm - North Tawton Christmas Market at the Town Hall. Also at North Tawton Community Centre from 10am to 12.30pm.

11am to 2pm - Yeoford Christmas Fayre, Yeoford Community Hall for Yeoford PTA and Holy Trinity Church, Yeoford.

6.30pm (eyes down at 7.30pm) - Christmas Bingo Night at Chulmleigh Pavillion. In aid of scouting.

7pm for 7.30pm start - Festive evening of Music performed by the Exbourne Choir at Sampford Courtenay Village Hall.

Sunday 11

2pm - Whist Drive at Upton Pyne Village Hall. For Village Hall funds.

5pm - Candlelit Carol Service, Holy Trinity Church, Yeoford followed by mulled wine and mince pies.

7pm for 7.30pm - Cheriton Bishop School PTFA Christmas Quiz at The Kings Arms, Tedburn St Mary.
