10am - noon - Author Reading and Craft, Crediton Library, Author Tracey Norman will be reading her children's book ‘Sammy's Saturday job’. After the story there will be a dragon craft activity to celebrate Chinese New Year. Free event and aimed at 3-7 year-old children. Please book if possible.

 7.15pm - for 7.30pm, ‘Patriotic Girls are We’ – women supporting the war effort in World War One.  A talk presented by the Crediton Area History and Museum Society (CAHMS), Boniface Centre, CAHMS members £2, non-members £5.

Wednesday 14

10am - noon - Make your own perfect pizza from scratch! Crediton Library, free family event aimed at those eight years or older. It is requested that children are accompanied by an adult. Thursday 15

10am - noon - Tiny Travels, Crediton Library, bringing all things ‘Asia’. Free event for children aged 0-7 years. Spaces are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.

7pm - doors open for 7.30pm start, to Saturday, February 17, Actors of North Tawton Society (ANTS) perform ‘Kindly Leave the Stage’, North Tawton Town Hall. Tickets priced at £8.50 are available from North Tawton Post Office or online through: www.ticketsource.co.uk/ants . Not recommended for under 12’s.

7pm - Crediton Library, Professional storyteller Lisa Schneidau presents ‘Magic Fire and Singing River’ - Russian stories and fairy tales with a twist.
