What is happening during the Coronation Weekend at Crediton Parish Church

THERE will be something happening every day of the Coronation weekend at Holy Cross Church in Crediton.

The Coronation service and ceremony which starts at 11am, will be livestreamed in the Boniface Centre on Saturday, May 6, from 10am with the build-up and procession.

All are welcome to come along and share this historic event in the company of others. Tea/coffee provided.

On Sunday, May 7 at 6pm in Holy Cross Church, everyone is invited to a Special Service to mark the Coronation of King Charles III.

Finally, on Monday, May 8, there is the Coronation Tea at the Britz in the Boniface Centre where we will gather at 3pm for a glass of Prosecco/Elderflower Presse and at 3.30pm, we will sing the "National Anthem" and have the Royal Toast. Everyone will then sit down to tea together.

There will be dainty finger sandwiches, vol au vents, a variety of small cakes, meringues topped with a strawberry, small scones with cream and homemade jam, and more!

There will be flowers, pretty table settings, bunting and gentle live musical accompaniment.

Tickets are £15 and must be purchased in advance from Sue Lavery on 01363 772536 or email: [email protected] .  Everybody welcome!
