A CIVIC reception for representatives from Dokkum, Fulda and Avranches was held at the Boniface Centre, Crediton, where the refreshments were prepared by members of CISCO (Crediton International Social and Cultural Organisation).

With the visitors was M Andre Bazin, First Deputy Mayor of Avranches. He is the longest-serving Deputy Mayor, having held the post since 1977. He has been First Deputy Mayor since 1995.
