THE Transition Project, run by Crediton Youth Service, will be part of the customer vote in Tesco stores in Crediton this month.

You can vote in Tesco Superstore (Wellparks) or Tesco Express (Crediton High Street).

The more votes, by blue tokens by Tesco shoppers, the more funding the Project can achieve.

The aim of the Transition Project is to work with Year 6 pupils to build confidence and resilience ahead of moving on to secondary school.

Year 6 pupils will be supported by Year 7 mentors from Queen Elizabeth's School and there is no charge for taking part.

The Transition Project will include sessions at local primary schools as well as multi-activity days at Crediton Youth Club at Old Landscore School.

After taking part in last year’s transition project, underpinned by the NHS Five Ways to Wellbeing, one young person said: “Looking after my well-being feels like routine to me now.”

Further information about the project is available on the Town Council website or Crediton Youth Service Facebook page.
